Robert Tacchetto has been operating the Camera Obscura, or Giant Camera, for over 22 years since his father passed away. The walk-in camera projects live images of Ocean Beach, Seal Rock, Cliff House and Point Lobos down to a parabolic table in the giant camera.

“It’s the family business, so you have to continue on,” Tacchetto said, who helped his mom and dad ever since he was a child. “It’s a little more pressure that way.”
